What To Expect
Arrive early. Bring a valid photo ID and confirmation of your registration. Check-in will be handled on-site before the session begins.
Group warm-up followed by individual skills evaluation. Ball handling, shooting, defensive footwork, and conditioning will all be assessed.
Full-court, 5-on-5 scrimmage play. This is where you show your basketball IQ, decision-making, and ability to compete. Coaches are watching everything.
Coaching staff evaluates all participants after the session. Selected players will be contacted directly with next steps.

By registering for tryouts, all participants will be required to acknowledge and accept the following prior to participation.
I acknowledge that participation in basketball tryouts and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, sprains, fractures, concussions, muscle strains, ligament damage, and other bodily harm. I understand that these risks exist regardless of the care and precautions taken by the Arizona Gila Monsters Sports Foundation, its coaches, staff, and affiliated personnel.
By registering, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation. I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Arizona Gila Monsters Sports Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, coaches, volunteers, agents, and affiliated organizations from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my participation, including but not limited to injuries sustained during tryouts, training, scrimmages, or any related activities.
I confirm that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation, or that I have disclosed all relevant medical conditions during registration. I understand that the organization does not provide medical insurance and that I am responsible for my own medical coverage and any costs associated with injury.
I grant the Arizona Gila Monsters Sports Foundation and its authorized representatives the unrestricted right and permission to photograph, record, film, and otherwise capture my name, image, likeness, voice, and biographical information during tryouts and any related activities.
I consent to the use, reproduction, distribution, display, and publication of such materials in any and all media, including but not limited to social media platforms, websites, print publications, promotional materials, advertisements, broadcasts, and any other format, whether now known or hereafter developed, for purposes including but not limited to promotion, publicity, marketing, and documentation of the Arizona Gila Monsters Sports Foundation and its programs.
This grant is made without expectation of compensation, royalties, or further approval. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or the use to which it may be applied. This release is binding upon my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.
